Reflection

     Media is constantly in my life without me even knowing it. Responding quickly to a snapchat or searching for a funny video on Instagram might seem harmless but I never really thought of the impact on individuals and how these changes would affect our society. Media saw changed my perspective on advertisements, used to think their harmless and entertaining to feeling like their almost bullying me. I always knew how women were portrayed in media wasn't necessary, fair or realistic but going more in depth about how they do this as an advertising technique was new to me. Knowing more about media and how it attempts to control us for their profits almost feels like they give me some kind of power of knowledge that helps me make more informed decisions.
